Whole Wheat & Rye Sourdough
This formula will make enough dough for four large loaves of bread. Halve the amounts if you want to bake only two loaves. Don’t be alarmed if the dough is sticky and a bit hard to handle. It has high hydration (80%) and the addition of rye flour also contributes to the stickiness of the dough. It’s worth it!
