Buttermilk Sourdough Bread

Buttermilk Sourdough is a delicious, soft, fine grained loaf with a lovely crust and is perfect for sandwiches and toast. I used the thick full fat buttermilk. The non-fat stuff just doesn’t work. By the way, the formula is printable. Enjoy!

    1. Hello Elisa, you can always start out by substituting 10-20% and then go from there, adding more and checking to see if you need to add more water because of whole grains ability to absorb more water. This dough is lower than usual in hydration, so you may need to add extra water even with 10-20% substitution.
